  A: Begin by obtaining the Wiper Transmission Separator part number J 39232 plus the Wiper Linkage Installer tool J 39529. Start the service by taking off the A/C pipe shroud if needed before you detach the wiper arms and open the air inlet grille panel. The J 39232 Wiper Transmission Separator helps you disconnect the transmission drive link socket from the wiper motor crank arm. The A/C pipe shroud bracket and electrical wiper motor connectors need to be disconnected when needed. Take out the wiper motor by unscrewing the three fasteners. Put the new wiper motor in place and attach three screws by turning them to 9 Newton-meter (80 pound inch). Connect new electrical wires to the wiper motor then put back the A/C shroud bracket to wheelhouse position if you took it off before. Insert the drive link ball socket tool to the wiper motor arm using Wiper Linkage Installer J 39529 kit. Reinstall all components such as the air inlet grille panel, wiper arms, and A/C pipe shroud when they were removed.
