How to service and repair the differential cover on 2000 Chevrolet Camaro?

In order to service the differential cover, lift and sustain the vehicle. Wipe down the rear axle housing compartment and strip of the cover bolts and cable guides of the parking brake. Peel off the cover to drain the lubricant, wipe off the gasket surfaces and fit a new gasket. Before lowering the vehicle, refix the cover and replace the axle with lubricant.
