How to replace the connecting rod bearing on 2001 Cadillac Catera?

Remove oil baffle and spark plug, rotate crankshaft to BDC. Detach rod cap and bearing, clean and oil journal. Apply plastic gage, reinstall cap, tighten bolts, torque-angle twice, check clearance. Remove bolts, replace upper bearing, reinstall cap with new bolts, torque-angle twice. Refit plugs, baffle.
