Initiate socket detachment from the lamp assembly through counterclockwise rotation to release the locking tabs and extract the bulbs (when needed) from the sockets. Begin by inserting new bulbs into the lamp sockets and return the sockets to the lamp assembly through a clockwise rotation until the locking mechanism engages. Place the tail/back up lamp assembly onto the rear fascia before installing the screws while tightening retaining screws to 2 n.m (18 lb in).
