How to replace the Hood Cable on 2002 Chevrolet Malibu?

Remove grille, disconnect hood cable from latch, detach it at radiator support. Remove sound insulator and carpet retainer, fold carpet, free grommet, remove screw and handle, tie string, pull cable inside, clean hole. Feed new cable through, seal grommet, reconnect at support, latch, handle, tighten screw, reinstall trim.
