In order to install the intake manifold, disconnect the negative battery cable and empty the cooling system. Disassemble a bunch of cables and connectors, lift off the air cleaner assembly. Unscrew hoses and brackets and take out the intake manifold. Installation requires a new gasket, attaching the manifold, and reconnecting parts. Lastly, reconnect the battery cable and fill up the cooling system.
