How to replace the hood latch on 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer?

In order to change the hood latch, remove the grille first. Indicate the position of the latch on the mounting bracket, and remove the bolts and remove the hood latch cable. Install the new latch, cable it and then fix it to the bracket. Check and ensure that the hood is functioning correctly and put the grille back on.
