How to service and repair the starter motor on 2003 Buick Century?

In order to service and repair the starter motor, one has to disconnect the negative battery cable and raise the vehicle. Take out the torque converter covers and take out air deflector panel. Disconnect the starter motor, loosen the starter bolts and extract the starter motor. Installation Reinstallation of starter- align and connect battery cable and battery covers.
