How to replace the rear trunk latch on 2003 Buick Park Avenue?

In order to change the latch on the rear compartment lid, remove the trim and unplug the electrical connector with the latch assembly. Wring away the bolts and pull off the actuator cable. Installation of the new latch assembly, and attaching it with bolts, re-connecting the actuator cable and re-installing the trim.
