How to replace the front inside door handle on 2004 Cadillac Seville?

The first step to replace the front inside door handle requires removing the door trim panel. Remove both the four nuts that secure the inside door handle and the two fasteners which anchor it. After removing the interior door handle components you can proceed with removing the inside door handle. Implement the inside door handle into the trim panel aperture then follow the Fastener Notice during installation. Installing the four nuts onto the trim panel studs should be done tightly at 3 N.m (27 lb in). Reattach the door trim panel once you have installed the two fasteners in the door handle and put back both of the interior door handle fasteners and nuts.
