How to replace the 4WD Actuator Encoder Motor on 2004 Chevrolet Silverado 3500?

Removal of transfer case encoder motor will require the removal of transfer case shield and the front propeller shaft. Unscrew the bolt connecting the encoder motor and disconnect it. Install a new motor and locating pins with locating gasket making sure that the transfer case is in the neutral position. Re-connect electrical connector and replace parts.
