To replace the Inflatable Restraint Steering Wheel Module Coil, the SIR System must be disabled. Straighten the wheels and lock the steering wheel before disassembling the vehicle. Remove the trim covers, disconnect the wire harness and reinstall the Air Bag Clock Spring so it's in alignment Reattach trim covers and steering wheel and enable the SIR system.
