How to Replace a Rear Door Check on 2004 GMC Canyon?

In order to change the rear door limiter, take off the rear side access door trim panel. Remove the bolt that connects the rear side access door overcheck with the body, and then the nuts that attach it to the door. Install the new check, making sure that it is well aligned and restore the trim panel again.
