How to replace the thermostat (LA1) on 2005 Buick Rendezvous?

As an alternative to the thermostat (LA1), assemble the required materials and take out the air cleaner and duct assembly. Drain the coolant after which the crossover exhaust pipe and radiator hose should be removed. Removal of the thermostat housing and gasket, cleaning of the surfaces and making the new thermostat and the thermostat housing. Install reconnect parts and charge the cooling system.
