How to replace the rear drive shaft in an AWD on 2005 Cadillac SRX?

Raise and support vehicle, remove exhaust. Support shaft, remove heat shield and support bearing bolts. Mark CV joint to transfer case, unbolt flanges, slide shaft rearward, detach from differential and remove. Inspect components, clean and lubricate mating surfaces, apply threadlocker, reinstall coupler, CV joint, support bearing, heat shield, exhaust, lower vehicle.
