How to replace the parking brake backing plate on 2006 Cadillac SRX?

In order to change the Parking Brake Backing Plate, lift up the car and take out the rear tire and wheel system. Remove the rear wheel bearings and hub and position the park brake. Take out the park brake shoe assembly and plate with the backing. Install backing plate and reassemble.
