How to replace the engine oil pressure switch on 2006 Chevrolet Avalanche 1500?

In order to change the engine oil pressure sensor, unscrew the engine sight shield when necessary. Unplug the electrical connector and then there is the Oil Pressure Switch Socket which is used to take out the sensor. Put some sealant on the threads of the new sensor, fit it and reconnect the electrical connector. Fit the engine sight shield, when required.
