How to replace the canister purge valves on 2006 Chevrolet Silverado 3500?

In order to substitute the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister purge solenoid valve, take off the engine sight shield. Disassemble the electrical connector and evap line, and take off the solenoid and insulator. To install, simply place the insulator around the solenoid, tighten the bolt, re-connect the electrical connector and re-connect the evap line.
