First step requires the removal of Evaporator cowl gasket from Evaporator before separating upper hvac module assembly from lower hvac module assembly. Start by disconnecting the Evaporator core from its place inside the upper hvac module assembly . To install the Evaporator core place it inside the hvac module assembly while adding refrigerant oil to the Evaporator core unless it remains unchanged. You must attach the upper hvac module assembly with the lower hvac module assembly before installing the Evaporator cowl gasket to the Evaporator. The hvac module assembly needs screws for installation using 2 n.m (18 lb in) torque before finishing with hvac module assembly placement.
