How to replace the camshaft on 2007 GMC Sierra 1500 Classic?

To change the camshaft, take off the radiator, A/C condenser, lifters, timing chain and camshaft sprocket then balance shaft drive gear. When handling the camshaft, do it carefully so that it does not suffer damage. Wipe and clean parts, apply grease and fit with bolts as handles. Tighten camshaft-retainer and reassemble other parts.
