How to replace the alternator bracket on L26 and LY7 engines on 2008 Buick LaCrosse?

The generator bracket on L26 and LY7 engines is replaced by having the ignition switch off and the generator removed. Unscrew the coolant inlet pipe lower bolt and unscrew the belt tensioner. Remove the bracket bolts of the generator, reattach all parts in reverse but tighten the bolts according to the requirements.
