How to replace the left exhaust muffler on 2008 Cadillac XLR?

Under the vehicle, locate and remove the left Muffler then, and replace it will the new one by securing while under the vehicle. Loosen clamp left exhaust Muffler and slide out from hanger to remove it. For installation, label the intermediate position of the Muffler ban clamp on the intermediate Exhaust Pipe, then grind the weld off that old clamp. Replace the old Muffler band clamp on the intermediate Exhaust Pipe and place the left Muffler into the hanger. Blaze the new Muffler band clamp on the intermediate Exhaust Pipe based on earlier made mark positioning the clamp bolt in such away it does not do when below the Exhaust Pipe. Finally, you need to tighten the right side exhaust Muffler clamp to 44 n.m (32 lb ft) and lower the vehicle.
