How to replace the Motor and Transmission Mount on 2010 Chevrolet Camaro?

A vehicle should be lifted while the mounts stay vertical to avoid transmission mount installation damage. Start by placing a suitable jack along with wood support under the transmission and then unscrew the transmission mount nuts. After raising and supporting your vehicle properly you must remove its transmission support retaining bolts before pulling out the transmission support itself. Next you should remove the transmission mount bolts then separate the transmission mount from the transmission. Before final assembly secure the new transmission mount onto the transmission while maintaining Engine Mount verticality. Tighten the bolts of the transmission mount to 58 nm (43 lb ft) while simultaneously installing the transmission support. First secure the transmission support bolts at 58 nm (43 lb ft) before you install and torque the transmission mount nuts to 58 nm (43 lb ft). After completing the procedure you should lower the vehicle with the support now removed from under the transmission.
