How to replace the Digital Radio Antenna Cable in a convertible on 2010 Chevrolet Corvette?

Replacing the Digital Radio Antenna Cable in a convertible starts with the removal of right front instrument panel (I/P) closeout panel along with the right front carpet retainer. Take off the plastic cover on the pillar to door pass-through before disconnecting the digital antenna cable connector to cut off the body side of the harness. Begin by loosening and setting aside the left-side door mechanical release lever followed by removal of the left lock pillar trim, left front carpet retainer, and left front I/P closeout panel. Following safety protocol by taking back the pillar to door pass-through plastic cover you will disconnect the digital antenna cable connector before cutting it on the body side of the harness. Remove the folding top storage compartment lid extension before cutting the digital antenna cable connectors from the digital receiver at the harness body side. A piece of mechanic's wire allows installation by passing through the I/P center console area then securing the right antenna cable to the mechanic's wire for pulling through the right I/P section following original antenna cable routing. Push the new connector through the plastic seal on the right side pillar to door pass-through, reconnect the connector, and reinstall the plastic seal securely by using tie straps to keep the new antenna cable safely positioned under the right side of the I/P, then do the same steps on the left side before reconnecting the digital receiver. Reinsert all components including right front carpet retainer followed by right I/P closeout panel, left I/P closeout panel, left lock pillar trim, left front carpet retainer and left side door mechanical release lever and folding top storage compartment extension.
