How to replace the lower control arm on those equipped with an aluminum lower control arm on 2010 GMC Sierra 1500?

To replace the lower control arm on vehicles with an aluminum arm, raise the car, take off the tire and remove the stabilizer shaft link. Hold the knuckle assembly, remove the bottom ball joint retaining nut and remove the lower ball joint. Remove the control arm bolts, install the new arm and tighten it. Re-attach parts and lower the car.
