How to replace the Brake Light Switch with adjustable pedals on 2010 GMC Yukon?

In order to install the adjustable pedals instead of the brake light switch, park the car and take off the driver knee bolster. Disassemble the brake light switch connector, disassemble the pushrod retainer bolt, and push off the pushrod. Install the new switch and reconnect the pushrod, the retainer and the knee bolster.
