Place the door check inside the door then guide the door check studs through the access holes present on the door inner panel before tightening the door check to door fasteners to 9 N.m (80 lb in). Install the door check arm onto the door hinge pillar fasteners before tightening them to 9 N.m according to specifications. After installing the close-out grommet the technician should attach the water deflector before adding the door control module depending on model. You should reinstall the door trim panel as the last step in this procedure.
