You must clean the oil level indicator tube before applying sealant gm p/n 12346286 (Canadian P/N 10953472) or its equivalent at the tube near the bead point 12.7 mm (0.50 inch) down. Insert the oil level indicator tube into the engine block while tightly securing the oil level indicator tube bracket bolt to 25 nm (18 ft. Lbs.). Reinstall the Spark Plug wire to the number 6 cylinder before replacing both the oil level indicator and its wire.
