How to replace the MAP Sensor on Cadillac DeVille?

The manifold absolute pressure sensor should be replaced after you shut off the ignition, then remove its connector. After that, take out the accelerator control cable bracket bolt and bracket, then take out the map sensor from the Intake Manifold. Look at the MAP Sensor grommet to see if it is damaged or worn, and replace it if you find any problems. Install the MAP Sensor back into the Intake Manifold by observing the steps in the fastener notice in service precautions. Attach the accelerator control cable bracket and fasten the bolts to 12 n.m (106 lb in.), and afterwards, connect the MAP Sensor electrical connector.
