Remove the power steering gear assembly mounting bolts (115 100 01) and detach the electrical harness clip from the power steering gear heat shield, and then remove it from the power steering gear contour. As for installation, place a new heat shield and make sure you comply with the fastener notice for safety precautions. Seal the heat shield with the mounting bolts to 115 100 01 at the tension of 9 nm(79 inch lbs.) and then reattach the electrical harness clip. Lift the vehicle back on to the ground, rotate the stabilizer shaft back into place, and reinstall the stabilizer shaft links.
