How to replace the throttle body assembly on Cadillac Eldorado?

In order to replace Throttle Body assembly, one must first disconnect the negative Battery Cable and then release the fuel system pressure. Disconnect the mass air flow/intake air temperature (MAF/IAT) sensor electrical connector plugged into the maf/iat sensor, the air cleaner intake duct assembly and the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) valve fresh air tube. Separate the cruise control cable and accelerator cable from the accelerator controls cable bracket ; then detach cruise control cable and accelerator control cable from the throat body lever. Pull the idle air control (IAC) valve electrical connector from the iac valve and the throttle position (TP) sensor electrical connector from the tp sensor. Take the Shift Cable clip of the transaxle from the accelerator controls cable bracket while taking the Throttle Body bolts from the water crossover then discard the plenum duct. Then, undo the accelerator controls cable bracket bolts and the bracket from the Throttle Body. For installations install the new accelerator cable bracket to the Throttle Body and install the bolts to the Throttle Body and tighten them to 12 n.m (106 lb in). Mount new Throttle Body Gasket on the Throttle Body and tighten from Throttle Body to water crossover and new plenum duct as well as new 12 n.m (106 lb in). Reconnect the freshly-replaced iac valve electrical connector (IAC valve) and tp sensor electrical connector (TP sensor). Attach the accelerator control cable and cruise control cable to the Throttle Body lever, and the accelerator cable and cruise control cable to the accelerator controls cable bracket. Install the transaxle Shift Cable clip and the maf/iat sensor electrical connector to the maf/iat sensor and then reinstall the air cleaner intake duct assembly with clamps tightened to 3 n.m (27 lb in) and pcv valve fresh air tube. Lastly, complete tp sensor learn by turning ignition switch to run/on for 1 minute, lock/off for 15 seconds, iac valve learn starting the engine and idling for 15 seconds and turning the ignition switch to lock/off of 15 seconds and re-ignition to ensure proper idle behavior.
