How to replace the MAP Sensor on Cadillac XLR?

In order to replace Manifold absolute pressure sensor first turn the ignition OFF and remove the engine sight shield. Disconnect the MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure) sensor's electrical connector and remove the MAP sensor from the bracket. Second, remove the vacuum line fitting from the bottom of the MAP sensor and visually check the vacuum line and fittings (1,2) of the MAP sensor for leaks. To install, connect vacuum line fitting to the port on the bottom of the and install back the MAP sensor into the bracket and plug the MAP sensor electrical connector back in. Lastly, re-install the engine sight shield.
