Yielding the v7 direct mount compressor clutch these tools needed to service and repair beget: hub and drive plate remover/installer (J 33013-B), pulley and bearing assemly installer (J 33017), and clutch hub holding tool (J 33027-A). Fit the shaft key into the hub key groove about 3.2mm (1/8in) from the keyway so that the curved shaft key is inserted as an interference fit. Scrape all the surfaces of the clutch plate and clutch rotor before aligning the shaft key with the keyway in the clutch plate and assembly and fix it to the a/c compressor shaft. Unscrew j 33013-b and unscrew the center screw and re-screw at the other end of the tool. Mount the j 33013- b and bearing tools on the clutch plate and hub component by loosening the body of the j 33013- b until the center screw can screw onto the a/c compressor shaft without tightening it. Holding the center screw with a wrench, tighten hex portion of j 33013-b body a number of times before pulling the tool out, leaving the shaft key intact. Reinstall the j 33013bung and insert a feeler gauge between the clutch plate and the clutch rotor to check the even air gap around the assembly. Tighten the hex part of the j 33013-b up to the point in which the air gap is 0.40 mm (0.015 in), then take the tool away again. Use an item 33027-a to secure the clutch plate and hub assembly during the installation and tightening of the a/c compressor shaft nut to 17.5 n.m (13 lb ft). Test spinning the pulley rotor by hand and checking for rubbing against the clutch drive plate, and take the a/c compressor away from the j 41790 and reinstall it to the vehicle.
