How to remove and replace the Body Control Module (BCM) on Chevrolet Camaro?

You need to disconnect the negative Battery Cable because it is an essential safety step before handling the Body Control Module (BCM). Start by removing the instrument panel cover before unsnapping the Body Control Module from the hvac duct. Unplug all bcm electrical connectors and then take off the ip harness extension connection from bcm. Attach the ip harness extension first to the Body Control Module then connect all the harness electrical connectors to the bcm. Fit the bcm to the heating ventilation air conditioning (HVAC) duct after proper alignment. Replace the i/p insulator and secure the negative Battery Cable back. Complete the necessary programming steps at the end of installation.
