How to replace the front air bag sensor on Chevrolet Express 1500?

To replace the inflatable restraint front end sensor, first, go ahead and turn off the SIR. Thereafter, lift and hold the vehicle. Eliminate the Connector Position Assurance CPA from the inflatable restraint front end discriminating sensor electrical connector and unplug the electrical connector. Loosen the inflatable restraint front end sensor mounting nut then move the sensor in a gradual motion to the front end of the vehicle up to the point of removal of the keyhole slot from the lower radiator support. For the purpose of installing it, clean the mounting surface and make sure the arrow positioned on the sensor indicates toward the front of the vehicle. Install the inflatable restraint front end sensor into the key hole slot in the lower radiator support pushing it towards the rear of the vehicle to seat only if necessary. By tightening the nut"to 10N.m (89 lb in), reconnecting the electrical connector, and installing the CPA". Finally, remove the safety stands, move the vehicle all the way down, and set the SIR system.
