How to replace the ABS Control Module with JL4, LNF (2.0L) on Chevrolet HHR?

Before starting the replacement of Brake Pressure Modulator Valve (BPMV) with JL4 LNF (2.0L) ensure that the ignition switch is in OFF position to avoid causing any harm to EBCM/EBTCM. Secure the charge air cooler inlet pipe to a nearby location after detaching it from its bracket. Clean the area surrounding the BPMV brake pipe fitting by removing the transmission control module from its bracket. The EBCM electrical connector requires disconnection followed by fitting caps at both master cylinder primary and secondary brake pipe connections in addition to LF , RF , RR , and LR brake pipe fittings to avoid brake fluid loss and contamination. Extract the BPMV bolt then lift the BPMV assembly vertically from the bracket insulators until it clears the accumulator covers while avoiding contact with them. Position the BPMV assembly onto the bracket until the mounting pins are fully inserted before installing and tightening the BPMV bolt to 11 Nm (97 lb in). Tighten all brake pipe fittings including master cylinder secondary and primary as well as LR , RR , RF , LF to 21 Nm (15 lb ft) each before restoring EBCM connector and TCM installation. Move the charge air cooler inlet pipe to its bracket before programming the EBCM and bleeding the hydraulic brake system. Complete the Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle then inspect the brake pedal sensation; if it feels soft continue with the Antilock Brake System Automated Bleed Procedure.
