  When replacing the Throttle Body assembly, go ahead and remove the air inlet duct along with the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) breather hose and the throttle position (TP) sensor connector. Drain the cooling system after removal of the 2 coolant hoses from the Throttle Body. Install the accelerator cable bracket and the 3 fasteners back onto the Throttle Body while making sure to reposition the Throttle Body as necessary. Tighten the 3 Throttle Body fasters to 20 n.m(15 lb.ft), and connect the 2 coolant hoses to the Throttle Body, the pcv hose ,the iac valve electrical connector and the tp sensor electrical connector. Lastly, fit the inlet air duct and replenish the cooling system.

  Start your Throttle Body service and repair by taking off the air inlet duct and pcv breather hose and throttle position sensor connector. Operating the throttle lever disconnects both accelerator and throttle valve cables and necessitates connector removal from the idle air control (IAC) valve. Start service by draining coolant system fluid then removing the 2 Throttle Body coolant hoses. Start by removing three components: the accelerator cable bracket followed by the Throttle Body bolt and the next two Throttle Body fasteners. Extract the Throttle Body from the Intake Manifold and its gasket while cleaning all remaining gasket residue off the Intake Manifold.
