How to replace the alternator bracket on GMC Jimmy?

Replacing the generator bracket, one should disconnect the negative cable from the battery, followed by removing the cooling system fan, Drive Belt, and generator. Then remove the engine wiring harness bracket from the generator mounting bracket as well as Drive Belt tensioner and Drive Belt idler pulley. Remove the 3 bolts and nut that hold the generator mounting bracket to the engine and then remove the bracket mounting. Mount the generator mounting bracket to the Cylinder Head. Within the process, make sure to install 2 generator mounting bracket bolts and nut and tighten with the torque, 41n.m (30 lb ft). Move to install the Drive Belt idler pulley and the Drive Belt tensioner, and reinstall the engine wiring harness bracket onto the generator mounting bracket, tightening the bolt to 25 n.m (18 lb ft). Then, install generator, Drive Belt, and cooling system fan, then reconnect the cables of the negative battery.
