Take off all fasteners securing the side door check to the door pillar before extracting the check from the door frame. To install the side door check place it inside the door while connecting it to the pin located within the door before pulling the check to activate the pin. Finish by mounting the fasteners to the door pillar and tighten them to 10 Nm (89 lb in).
